Your experts in European Innovation Funding

We work with the most competitive EU innovation and acceleration schemes offering both dilutive and non-dilutive funding.

The programmes we are working with

Under Horizon Europe – the EU’s €100B funding programme – individual applicants can benefit from a combined financing upwards of €20m awarded to them – to fund market and scaling activities.

Our clients are early-stage deep tech ventures (Seed, Series A, B, C) with applications in life sciences, computing, food and agri tech, aerospace, energy and clean-tech, industrial technologies, telecom, new materials, chemistry.

The EIC Accelerator

The EU’s flagship €3 billion innovation fund

The EIC Accelerator focuses on scientific discoveries or technological breakthroughs, which need significant funding over a longer timeframe before returns can be generated. Such innovations often struggle to attract financing because the risks and time involved are generally too high.  This funding enables the innovators to attract the full investment amounts that are needed to scale up in a shorter timeframe.

Who:
Single start-ups and SMEs, individuals intending to launch a startup / SME and in exceptional cases small mid-caps (fewer than 500 employees)
Stage: Demonstrate, validate and deploy innovation (TRL 5-6 to TRL 8-9)
Funding: Grant up to €2.5M and €15M equity financing

The Pathfinder

The EIC Pathfinder programme, with a budget of €168 million. Interdisciplinary teams of researchers can apply for research and innovation grants that will support them to realise their breakthrough ideas and have a transformative positive effect on our economy and society.

Who: Consortia of at least 3 legal entities (research organizations, universities, SMEs, industry) established in 3 eligible countries. Single applicants or small consortia (2 partners) may be able to apply according to the call specifications

Stage: Early stage research (TRL 1-3)
Funding: Grant up to €3M (Open Call); Grant up to €4M (Challenge Call)

Life Program

The LIFE programme helps companies bring their green products, technologies, services and processes to the market.  Applicants for close-to-market projects can apply in the areas of climate change mitigation and adaptation and circular economy and quality of life.

Who: Single applicants (companies, public bodies, NGOs) or consortia
Stage: Demonstrate, validate and deploy innovation; promote best practices
Funding: Depending on the project type

The Innovation Fund

The Innovation Fund is one of the world’s largest funding programmes for the demonstration of innovative low-carbon technologies. It is a key funding instrument for delivering the EU’s economy-wide commitments under the Paris Agreement and its objective to become climate-neutral by 2050.

Who: Single applicants (companies) or consortia
Stage: Demonstrate innovative low-carbon technologies (TRL 7-8)
Funding: Up to 60% of the additional costs linked to the innovative low-carbon technology applied for large-scale projects (above €7.5M) and up to 60% of the capital costs for small-scale projects (between €2.5M and €7.5M)

Eureka – Eurostars

Eurostars is a European joint programme, co-funded from the national budgets of 36 EUREKA countries and by the European Union. This is a close to market project, meaning that within two years of completion the product of research should be ready for market introduction.

Who: Consortia of SMEs, universities and research centres. Note that 50% of the total project budget must come from an SME
Stage: R&D projects that create innovative products, processes or services for commercialisation
Funding: Depending on national guidelines
